有香港薰衣草之稱的紫花香薷 Elsholtzia argyi H.Lév

紫花香薷枝莖纖幼，身披白色疏柔毛。紫花香薷是草本，花序側向一邊。莖四棱形，被疏生或密集的白色短柔毛。邊緣具圓齒或圓齒狀鋸。

据中醫朋友說香薷可具解熱，鎮痛，鎮靜功用。中醫朋友補充説，香港大帽山在每年十月至十一月紫花香薷比較容易找到，有專稱是海洲香薷。
